Cookies & GDPR Consent
Last updated .
This page explains the cookies Shopify Owners Newsletter uses and how to control them. Essential functionality works without cookies. Non-essential cookies (analytics and ads) load only after you accept, and you can change or withdraw consent at any time using the button below.
Categories of cookies
| Category | Purpose | Loads when |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Remembers your consent choice (stored locally). Required for the site to respect your preference. | Always (strictly necessary) |
| Analytics | Aggregate traffic understanding via a Google Analytics placeholder (G-XXXXXXXXXX). | Only after you click Accept |
| Advertising | Ad delivery and measurement (e.g., Google AdSense placeholders). | Only after you click Accept |
How consent works here
On your first visit, a banner asks you to Accept or Decline. Nothing non-essential loads until you accept. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (not a tracking cookie) so we can honor it. Declining keeps analytics and ads off. You can revisit the choice anytime with “Manage cookie choices” above or in the footer.
Your GDPR / ePrivacy rights
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to refuse non-essential cookies (and we default to off until you opt in), to withdraw consent, and to request access to or deletion of any personal data. See the Privacy Policy and contact us to exercise these rights.
A note on local files
If you open this site directly from a file (offline), analytics and ad scripts are deliberately prevented from running at all, regardless of consent.
